She-Hulk’s Comic-Con trailer spoils a cameo with a better cameo

Marvel Studios spent a good portion of her time at San Diego Comic-Con talking about Daredevil, and what happened with Charlie Cox’s version of The Man Without Fear getting his (second) solo show at Disney+ Daredevil: Born Again And Cox takes advantage of pressing the MCU on the retcon button haaaarrrrrrd In a new animated series called Spider-Man: Year One (Where we’ll find out apparently Young Speedy met not only Hornhead Cox But the new releases of Norman Osborne and Henry Osborne, as well as Amadeus Cho and Nico Minoru, before the events of Captain America: Civil War).

But these aren’t the only places Daredevil has appeared this weekend: He’s also fast-tracked in the new Disney+ movie trailer. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law series, completely flipping through the frame at the end and wearing what appears to be a new costume inspired by his original black and yellow outfits from the comics (arguably his worst, honestly). The trailer clips away before you even see his face, so this might be a bit of a tough fake (get bang for your buck, single fan of D-Man!), but who also carries Billy’s rackets and flips over like that?

Anyway, the rest of the trailer leans heavily on comedy, Just as he did the first, with Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters joking with her cousin Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) coaching her on the ways of the Hulk and then getting into some out-of-water fishing moves when she returns to New York to start a new life as a giant green bartender. This is where you meet several superhero neighbors, such as Tim Roth’s Abomination (which was in the last trailer), and Benedict Wong’s Wong (from Dr. Gharib!), and a group of goons who appear to be the classic Marvel villains The Wrecking Crew.

That’s all fun! And the implicit presence of gender in the first trailer is more implicit over here! Fabulous! But then Daredevil shows up and that’s all we want to talk about and think about. Will She-Hulk and Daredevil get a courtroom scene? Will this show acknowledge any Netflix events reckless turns out? Will we ever see an appearance by Daredevil’s spoiled twin brother Mike Murdock (who is definitely a real person and not Matt Murdock in a hat)?

we will find out on August 17 when She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Premiere on Disney+.
