The Pixel 6 series will get the “Camouflage” Magic Eraser on July 28

Magic Eraser was one of the cool new tricks that came with the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, but it picked up a new trick alongside the Pixel 6a in “camouflage”. Now, it has been confirmed that the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will add the new feature in a few days.

Blur joins the usual Magic Eraser’s ability to remove photo or object spoilers from a photo through Google Photo Editor on the Pixel 6 series phone. first announced at Google I/O 2022, and arrived mostly unofficially as an additional feature of Pixel 6a phone.

We noticed the feature in Our Pixel 6a review earlier this week.

The only new feature that will arrive alongside the Pixel 6a, but will soon appear in the rest of the group, is “Camouflage” in the Google Photos app. This was the expansion of Magic Eraser Advertise again at Google I/O With the ability to mute the colors of the objects in the image so as not to distract attention from the subject. We only tested this feature briefly, but it does exactly what Google claims, and it does well.

You can see our results with the Magic Eraser “Camouflage” below, with the advantage of being able to capture a brightly colored, distracting cup in the background of the shot, which is watered down to a muted, less eye-catching orange. We’ve found that the feature doesn’t always work perfectly, and some shots aren’t quite as tech-friendly. But like a regular stuff remover, it can definitely be a handy tool to use.

Camouflage is available on the Pixel 6a right out of the box, but the feature should work on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro as well. Talking to the edgeGoogle has confirmed that the Camouflage app will be released on both phones on July 28 of the same day Which Pixel 6a charges? to customers.
